Cheer on Los Leones at the Complutense or out and about in this Spain 18/19 Home S/S Rugby Shirt from Joma.
The international rugby team Spain dates back to 1901. The team's greatest moment of success came in 1999, when Spain qualified for the 1999 Rugby World Cup. Today, Spain competes in the European Nations Cup against Georgia, Germany, Portugal, Romania, and Russia. Spain has never been crowned European champions but it has come close. The closest they've come to becoming European champions was in 2012, having beaten both Romania and Georgia and finishing second. Spain is looking to make the 2018/19 season a successful one for its players and as a national team and although they haven't qualified for a Rugby World Cup since 1999 they are enjoying one of the most successful spells in their history, finishing 3rd in the last two Rugby Europe Championship tournaments.
The Spanish kit is produced by manufacturer Joma who have been the kit supplier since 2016. Since 2017, Generali is the current sponsor. The home shirt is the traditional red colour with an interesting digital pattern across the body, with blue and gold trim. The Joma logo is on the right of the shirt whilst the team badge is on the left.
